2:00 PM Tuesdays Beginner / Intermediate bench rest rifle starting on March 19, on the 50-yd range, will focus on safety and basic rifle marksmanship for beginner and intermediate shooters. Rifles can be provided by RPRC. Open to members and members guests.

RPRC offers shotgun events scheduled weekly for members and members guests. Weekly rotations between Wobble, Hunters Trap & 5-Stand on Wednesdays.

The NRA Basic Pistol class consists of two parts and provides students a Certificate acceptable for application for a Virginia concealed carry permit (CWP). Each part is about 4 hours long.
The classroom session teaches the knowledge, skills and attitudes of firearm mechanics and safety. We teach proper standing positions, how to properly hold the pistol and breathing techniques. The classroom is followed by a live fire qualification course. Classroom sessions are held at Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

Following the classroom session, a live fire session is conducted at the Rappahannock Pistol & Rifle Club range.
