The Three Rules of Gun Safety:

Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.

Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.

One of RPRC’s primary goals is to provide all club members and guests with a SAFE shooting environment to forward the development of the characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance, which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of patriotism.

To that goal, safety is everyone's responsibility. General safety regulations are posted inside the Range gate, as well as Range-specific regulations posted at each of the Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun Ranges.

All individuals utilizing RPRC Ranges must absolutely follow ALL General and Range Specific regulations. Members that bring guests must brief them on RPRC Specific Rules and are responsible for any violations involving their guests.  Violators, depending on severity or number of violations, may lose their right to use RPRC facilities for a time to be determined by the RPRC Board Of Directors.

Lastly, If you see something... Say something.  Safety violations should be immediately addressed and reported to the Club’s Safety Officer or any Club Officer.

Remember, YOU are a Range Safety Officer!
