RPRC 25 Yard Pistol Range
‘Next Step Pistol‘ on 25-yd range will focus on safety and improved handgun marksmanship for shooters at all levels. Open to members and members guests.
2:00 PM Tuesdays Beginner / Intermediate bench rest rifle starting on March 19, on the 50-yd range, will focus on safety and basic rifle marksmanship for beginner and intermediate shooters. Rifles can be provided by RPRC. Open to members and members guests.

The matches will count BOTH in the Pistol Division of the Club Championship and in the Overall Club Championship.
This will be a RF or CF competition competitors’ choice Match will be held on the 25-yard range.
Total of 24 shots. Mandatory safety talk at 9:45 AM. Competition starts at 10:00 AM

RPRC 100 Yard Rifle Range
Swap Meet 10AM to Noon on 100 YD Range (only members can display) Lunch served at NOON. Cost is $15/Person (children 12 yrs old and under are free) Pre-registration is required by September 10th and is non-refundable. Members must login to website in order to register. The range is closed to shooting during this event.

This event will count in the Shotgun Division of the Club Championship, AND the Overall Club Championship. The match will be held on the Trap range. Due to the popularity of this event, we are requesting registration.

Northumberland County Sheriffs Office
The NRA Basic Pistol class consists of two parts and provides students a Certificate acceptable for application for a Virginia concealed carry permit (CWP). Each part is about 4 hours long.
The classroom session teaches the knowledge, skills and attitudes of firearm mechanics and safety. We teach proper standing positions, how to properly hold the pistol and breathing techniques. The classroom is followed by a live fire qualification course. Classroom sessions are held at Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Following the classroom session, a live fire session is conducted at the Rappahannock Pistol & Rifle Club range.
RP&RC (25-yard) Pistol Range
25 Yd Range will be closed to members from 8:30AM to 1PM for an NRA Training Class Session.

GUNS: Any shotgun capable of holding at least two (2) rounds of ammunition.
SHELLS: No shot larger than 7 1/2 will be permitted. Due to the popularity of this event, we are requesting that you register.
