RPRC Match Description:
Shotgun: Hunter's Trap
All RPRC range rules will be adhered to.  Mandatory safety talk at 12:45 AM. Competition starts at 10:00 AM.
This event will count in the Shotgun Division of the Club Championship, AND the Overall Club Championship. The match will be held on the Trap range.

EQUIPMENT: GUNS: Any shotgun capable of holding at least two (2) rounds of ammunition. SHELLS: No shot larger than 7 1/2 will be permitted.

COURSE OF FIRE: Two (2) Standard Rounds of Hunter’s Trap, 25 targets each, total of 50 targets. A second shot may be fired on single targets if needed, however if both shots are misses it is scored as one miss. Two alibis will be allowed (not seeing the target is not an alibi). Hunter’s Trap has seven stations. Targets will be presented as follows: Stations 1 and 2: 1. Report Pair (second target is released upon the sound of the first shot) 2. Report Pair (second target is released upon the sound of the first shot). Stations 3, 4 and 5: 1. Single Target (second shot allowed if missing on the first shot) 2. Report Pair (second target is released upon the sound of the first shot). Stations 6 and 7: 1. Report Pair (second target is released upon the sound of the first shot) 2. Report Pair (second target is released upon the sound of the first shot). Ties will be broken by a shoot-off with each competitor shooting five shots (one single and two report pair) from station one with each competitor shooting the same number of rounds until the tie is broken.
