RPRC 2024 Match Description

RIFLE – SILHOUETTE

This match will be counted toward the rifle and club championships.

RANGE:

100 yard range.

TARGET:

Designated animal silhouette targets

Any other target may be used for sight-in

GUNS:

Open Class (Rim fire of Center fire, any caliber conforming to range rules)

NO RELEASE TRIGGERS

SIGHTS:

Open sights, aim point (red dot), or optics (scope), no light projecting sights

RESTS:

Shooting from standing position. A  sling may be used as desired, no shooting jacket

COURSE OF FIRE:

10 minute sight-in period.

(4), (5) minute, (5) shot strings at designated silhouettes. 40yd, 60yd, 75yd and 100yd

Scoring will be hit or miss.

(5) minutes per string. Best scoring shot will be eliminated from score for any shot made after time ends.

Ties will be broken 100yd shoot-off on designated silhouette. Sudden death, equal chances, hit or miss. If there is no winner after (5) shots each, a bullseye A25 target will be used to score the best shot for the win.
