RPRC Membership


RPRC is a private facility for the use of our members and their guests. Club membership is open to all legal residents of the United States 18 years or older with a satisfactory Virginia State criminal records check, and election by majority vote at a regular club meeting. Membership is conferred without regard to race, sex, religion, or country of origin.

How to apply for Membership:

  1. Review the membership requirements and fee information below.
  2. Click the Join Us Now! button at the bottom of this page and complete your membership application.
  3. The club membership officier will contact you to discuss your application and the next steps in the process. 
  • Please do not schedule a Range Safety Walk or any range events until you have completed your application and the membership officier has contacted you.

Membership Requirements:

  • Prove that you are legally able to own/use a firearm (concealed carry permit, recent firearm purchase receipt, background check, FFL license, law enforcement credential).
  • Confirm that you have never been convicted of a felony.
  • Confirm that you have never been adjudicated mentally incapacitated.
  • Maintain an active NRA membership (a link to the NRA website is available below, with discounted rates).
  • Actively participate in three range events.
  • Attend a Range/Safety Orientation.
  • After all the above requirements are completed, you must be voted in at the next monthly membership meeting

Applications are reviewed and approved by the membership officer.  The membership officer will contact you after you submit your application. Please plan to complete your membership requirements within 90 days (about 3 months) of joining.

Membership Fees:

  • One-time initiation fee: $300.00 (waived for active law enforcement officers or for spouses of members).
  • Annual dues (based on calendar year): $150.00 for single membership, $250.00 for family membership. Annual dues are prorated for new members. For a family membership, both spouses must first apply for single membership and complete the application requirements (one initiation fee will cover both spouses).

Once you are a full member (with a gate card) you are allowed to bring up to three guests with you to the range.


Our monthly membership meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm at the Lancaster Community Library, located at 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock 22482. Membership meetings are considered club events for the application process.
