RPRC Membership

RPRC is a private facility for the use of our members and their guests. Club membership is open to all legal residents of the United States 18 years or older with a satisfactory Virginia State criminal records check, and election by majority vote at a regular club meeting. Membership is conferred without regard to race, sex, religion, or country of origin.

How to apply for Membership:

1. Review the membership requirements and fee information below.
2. Click the Join Us Now! button at the bottom of this page and complete your membership application.
3. If we have reached membership capacity, your application will be on a wait list in application date order, and you will be contacted by our Membership Officer.
4. When there is an opening available, the club membership officer will contact you to discuss your application and the next steps in the process.
5. Once your application is approved, payment must be received within 30 days, or your application will be dropped.
   
   
   
   

Membership Requirements:

• Prove that you are legally able to own/use a firearm in the Commonwealth of Virginia (concealed carry permit, recent firearm purchase receipt, background check, FFL license, law enforcement credential).
• Confirm that you have never been convicted of a felony.
• Confirm that you have never been adjudicated mentally incapacitated.
• Maintain an active NRA membership (a link to the NRA website is available below, with discounted rates).
  
• Attend a Range/Safety Orientation.
• After completion of Safety Orientation, actively participate in shooting at each of our three ranges.
  
• After all the above requirements are completed, you must be voted in at the next monthly membership meeting

Applications are reviewed and approved by the membership officer.  The membership officer will contact you if there is an opening for a new member. Please plan to complete your membership requirements within 90 days (about 3 months) of joining.

Membership Fees:

• One-time initiation fee: $300.00 (waived for active law enforcement officers or for spouses of members).
• Annual dues (based on calendar year): $150.00 for Individual (single) membership, $250.00 for Individual & Spouse  (couples) membership. Annual dues are prorated for new members. For Individual & Spouse (couples) membership, both spouses must first apply for individual memberships and complete the application requirements (one initiation fee will cover both spouses).  Once both spouses are members, the membership officer can convert their membership to the couples' rate effective at next renewal.  

Once you are a full member (with a gate card) you are allowed to bring up to three guests with you to the range. Please ensure all guests sign in upon gate entry. 

Our monthly membership meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm at the Lancaster Community Library, located at 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock 22482.
